Winter Vibes

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! The Holidays are both a busy time but also a time to relax in off season for weddings. Every year my family goes on a little get away between Christmas and New Year to South Lake Tahoe, one of my very favorite places to visit. Ready to go back already!! While I was snowmobiling the mountainside and enjoying time with my family, a dear friend Tim Lopez of @seaglassweddings was planning and styling this fabulous wintery fairytale inspo shoot at Shaver Lake, Ca. The flowers were inspired by the snow and the mayestic color of the bridal gown. Blooms of burgundy peonies (one of my favorites), garden roses, astilbe, accent Floral were paired with cedar evergreens and eucalyptus. Check out this gorgeous shoot!

2016 At A Glance

As my 2016 season comes to a close, I found myself reminiscing about all my wonderful couples this season. I can’t begin to thank you all for making my job so pleasurable! Check out these highlights from the year!

La Cuesta Ranch Romantic Styled shoot

Day 2 of our SLOBride Styled shoot took place at the very unique La Cuesta Ranch in beautiful San Luis Obispo! The vision behind this look was for a bride that loves all things vintage romance. Floral’s in creamy ivorys, blush, & caramel are accented with dusty miller and greenery. Jasmine Vine adds the perfect romance to this look. We loved the setting of this sweatheart table, underneath an aged oak tree with a vintage chandelier that hangs permanently from the oak. A rustic farmhouse table, covered with cut crystal glassware, copper mugs, vintage china,a lace table runner, and a eclectic linen add a touch of elegance to the look.

Katie & Austin ~11/29/14

Meet Katie & Austin, a fun loving couple who were wed on a gorgeous fall day at St. Williams Church in Atascadero, Ca. Working with these two and of course Katie’s mom Babette was such a pleasure from start to finish. Katie & Austin chose a romantic rustic color palatte of light pastel lavender, creams, eggshell blue, silvers, & nuetrals to design her floral pieces. From the hand made crates made by Katie’s dad, to the log slices, and lace, the floral styling was the perfect pair of rustic and romantic. I also had the pleasure of month of coordinating there wedding! It was great to see every detail come together on the wedding! I think my favorite part of the day was when Babette, Katie’s mom came into the reception area before the ceremony and told myself and Melissa(Décor) how she was so happy that we made Katie’s wedding dream come to life. Its moments like that that make me my job!

Rustic Santa Margarita Ranch ~ Brandy & Brock

The cutest couple ever that working together was fate from the beginning! I met this wonderful couple one Saturday while I was have a meeting with another couple. Brandy over heard our conversation & came to our table, explained her and Brock were in town planning their august wedding and were looking for a florist. One of my favorite parts of this couples floral styling was the custom made wood boxes the brides father made. So rustic chic, & combined with sweet & simple floral palette was perfect for Brandy and Brocks wedding day!!

Hello All,

As the wedding season approaches, I am thrilled to be working with some very wonderful brides and their families. Before all the caos, I get to be apart of a fabulous event in honor of The Paul Wolf Foundation for Accessibilty for All awards program will be held May 17, 2013 at Cal Poly SLO. Brooke Edelman Floral Design will be designing all of the table centerpieces that will be auctioned at the end of the event for extra donations to the foundation. Being apart of this spectacular event is a truly humbling experience because its near to my heart. My uncle Bryan is paralyzed from the neck down and has been for as long as I have known him (20+ years.) Both my aunt and uncle are involved in this program to make our area a more accessible place. To all my brides; I cannot wait to see each wedding come together with all the amazing details. Happy Planning :))
